An Educational Campaign on Portion Balance

A science-based, individualized consumer and healthcare professional educational campaign by the Portion Balance Coalition in partnership with the White House Challenge to End Hunger and Build Healthy Communities.

Nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all. In this consumer education campaign, we’re using an individualized approach to nutrition that focuses on portion balance and considers the whole person. The campaign connects parts of the hand to all major food groups and to the USDA’s MyPlate, and includes a range of helpful tips for managing portions.
